I am thrilled by what Terry Crews does as a famous and manly man to bring awareness to misogyny and encourage mutual respect. On The Daily Show with Trevor Noah, he made some beautifully direct statements defining toxic masculinity, owning his own history with it, and discussing his recovery and efforts to make amends. So encouraging, I think everyone should see this!

Lessons for Young Men

“It’s impossible to love someone and control them at the same time.”
“If we’re not ALL equal, NOBODY is equal.”
“Things I thought were cool, were really toxic;
and I had accepted these wrong things.”
“I’m making amends. This thing is fixable, everybody.”
“Once we have the conversation, everything can change.”
“My son is growing up in a different world than I grew up in.”
